Led the development of Hedwig, a critical messaging platform, and scaled communication features like Voice, VOIP, and Push Notifications with 10 microservices, achieving a combined TPS of 25,000. Focused on system design, roadmap planning, and talent management.
Directed engineering for a team of 15+ engineers, primarily responsible for push notifications. Led the scaling of the system to 2M notifications/day and processing 700M events daily, significantly improving RPM from 1.5K to 650K. Focused on architecture design, feature implementation, and scaling across AWS infrastructure for various features and supporting tools.
Led the implementation of the full payment gateway and in-house payment integration for Golbibo, and integrated various external payment APIs. Developed and maintained the Golbibo flight booking system, which was fully integrated into other products. Actively worked on the Django framework, Python, and gained strong understanding of MVC, also contributing to a friend suggester module.
